Flowers for Dreams comes to MKE

I’ve been meaning to write this post for the last few weeks, but got a little caught up getting engaged and what not.
Side note: I promise I won’t be so obnoxious about my engagement in upcoming posts. Well, I’ll try. Ha!
Although Flowers for Dreams has been in Milwaukee for a few months, this Chicago-based company caught everyone’s attention with their adorable flower truck being posted up around MKE throughout the week of April 19th. They made their official debut at the Kimpton Journeyman Hotel and continued to win our hearts at local favs, including Stone Creek Coffee, Milwaukee Public Market and Lakefront Brewery.
I had been hoping to catch the truck all week, but the timing just never seemed to work out. That Friday they announced their final stop would be Miller Park. Don't get me wrong, I love the Brew Crew, but a below 50° ball game isn’t really my cup of tea. Nevertheless, at this point it was now or never.
One of my bests (turned photographer for the day) tagged along for the little adventure. Just two gals roaming Miller Park’s parking lot for fresh flowers. Tickets in hand? Nope. No big deal. Nothing to see here…

Alas, we found the truck!
Each and every member of the team was so sweet and hospitable. Along with the free bouquets they had been giving away all week, they offered us both a PBR. If this doesn't make them the perfect fit for MKE, I don't know what does.
Instead of judging me for taking shameless photos for my blog (ha!), they were totally on board with taking some photos for their own Instagram page. Two PBRs, many laughs and (probably) too many pictures later…they captured an insta-worthy shot. After our little photo session, we chatted with them about their mission and MKE delivery service.
Here are the details:
Their locally crafted flowers start at just $35 per bouquet with delivery included!
Speaking of delivery…they deliver by bike (love that!).
Fresh and locally crafted means each bouquet is truly unique based on the theme selected by you!
Bouquets come wrapped in recyclable cloth.
Vase options range from reclaimed wood to vintage tins.
Each month they chose a cause and contribute 25% of their profits to it.
They’ve donated over $190,000 since their start in 2012!
If you’re wondering, yes, they do weddings! (As if they weren’t awesome enough to begin with.)
Check out their website for more information.
Flowers for Dreams, cheers to you! Looking forward to watching you grow in MKE.
Yes, pun intended.
