basd body care: works with what your mama gave you

I was instantly drawn to the basd body care brand after reading their bio. I’d sum it up as bold and empowering. Who knew a body care brand could make you feel so sexy?
basd takes pride in their plant-based, non-gmo, paraben-free and cruelty-free products (as they should!), so I jumped at the chance to collaborate with them!
Not only is basd a company that provides quality product and aims to do right by their customers, but the product packaging is gorg too. I’m a sucker for pretty packing, so clearly I was hooked. It's covered in text that I love, but you’ll have to order yourself the bundle to see what I mean.
Hint hint: it’s fun, relatable and slightly sassy!
Here’s how I work the basd indulgent crème brulee bundle pack into my summer beauty routine.
coffee scrub -
basd’s organic coffee-based exfoliator is different (in the best way!) than body scrubs that I’ve tried in the past. Most scrubs consist of a gel-like base with little beads. Meh. Not so great for pampering your skin to perfection.
Not the case with this scrub though! I love how natural it looks and feels. Better yet, I love that I don’t have to DIY the scrub because we all know that never turns out well.
basd’s body scrub is loaded with essential ingredients, including sea salt and organic almond oil, that leave my skin feeling smooth and soft.
I laughed at myself the first time I used it. I managed to end up with more of the scrub covering my shower than my body, ha. In basd’s own words “the mess is worth it”. I couldn’t agree more!
I use it weekly to prep and buff my skin for rocking my favorite one-piece at the beach or wearing a flowy dress on a warm-weather day.

body wash -
I typically exfoliate my skin every couple of days and use the basd body wash for the days in between. The rich crème burlee scent is sweet and subtle. It’s not too overbearing the way some scented body washes typically are.
The aloe-infused formula has been especially perfect for moisturizing my newly bronzed skin (well, lightly toasted at best) this summer. As some of you know, I have issues with dry skin and eczema. I haven’t noticed any irritation to my skin thus far, which is always a win for me!

body lotion -
Along side basd’s coffee scrub, this moisture-rich body lotion is my fav! The two together make for the perfect team. I use the combo to round out my summer skin routine.
The lotion is loaded with beneficial ingredients like organic sea butter and coconut oil that hydrate my skin after exfoliating. Again, the scent isn’t too strong or overbearing, so you don’t have to worry about smelling like straight up dessert (reminiscent of that time when you were 13 and obsessed with layering up b&bworks warm vanilla sugar with pumpkin cinnamon swirl…admit it…we’ve all been there).
P.S. It’s guy approved by Jacob, too!
