L'Occitane: Beauty Inspired by Nature

A few of my favorite bloggers have been posting about L'Occitane and how great it is for sensitive skin.

Needless to say I was thrilled when I got a surprise package from L'Occitane one Saturday afternoon.

If you’ve read some of my previous posts, you’ll know that I have eczema. Olivu 426’s emu oil has solved all of my hand eczema issues, buttttttt…the eczema on my legs has become an annoyance once again past last few months.

(Yes, my eczema is flaring even though it’s not winter. I guess my body hates me sometimes.)

Strangely enough, this shea butter hand cream is exactly what I needed.

No joke, people. I’ve been using it on my legs the last few weeks and my eczema is gone.

Au Revoir. Adios. Bye.

It’s enriched with 20% organic shea butter, which you know is right up my alley, and penetrates quickly without leaving my skin oily or greasy.

Out of all the products they sent me, I was most excited to try this shea butter light comforting cream.

It’s formulated with shea butter, but it doesn’t leave my face feeling greasy. It goes on smooth and soft without that ‘heavy’ feel.

Side note: some reviewers said it helped reduce redness on their face.

I don’t have issues with redness, so I can’t comment based on experience, but it might be a good option to try if that’s an issue for you!

My first thought on almond shower oil was “huh”.

I’ve tried facial oil in the past, but never body oil specifically for the shower.

Thus far, I’m a fan! This almond shower oil transforms into foam when it hits water, so it acts as both a cleanser and moisturizer. I love that the almond scent is faint, but indulgent.

Last but not least, the lavender foaming bath. If I’m honest with y’all, I haven’t had a chance to use it yet. We live in a rental and I’m not exactly keen on the idea of soaking in the bathtub that several other tenants have used. Ha! We keep it shinny and clean, but something about knowing several other people that I don’t know have used it makes me say “ekkkk”. Can anyone else relate?

This product has great reviews though! Reviewers seem to love the lavender scent. Once I get the chance to try it out, I’ll be sure to share.
