Summer's Updated Cold-Shoulder Trend

July 30, 2017

The cold-shoulder trend definitely made a comeback this season and I absolutely love how the trend has transformed since last year!

If you follow me on social media, you'll know I've been rocking this trend a lot. Below are two of my favs.

I wore this floral cold-shoulder maxi dress for my bridesmaid brunch (Psst..more to come on that. Stay tuned!).

I wore this LC satin cold-shoulder top for a relaxing Sunday spent with my momma in my hometown.

Blogger side note: When you’re in pinch for photo opportunities, you’ll pretty much turn to anything for use as a backdrop (even the siding of your mom's house). Ha!

Last year’s cold-shoulder style was a little more subdued with simple peek-a-boo cutouts. This year, the trend is in full force with fun, flowy and feminine finds. The updated silhouette shows more skin, but in an elegant and chic way. The versatility of this trend is perfect for complementing everything from your favorite high-waisted jeans to party-ready wedges. To top it off, the sleeves always seem to perfectly cover up that pesky armpit bulge we all hate.

So, make the most of the last month of summer and treat yourself to one of these stylish wardrobe essentials!

Here are a few of my favorite finds for under $30!
