Most brides love BHLDN. Most bloggers jump at the opportunity to work with one of their favorite brands. So, being a bride AND blogger working with BHLDN…pure heaven for me!
Many thanks to the Kimpton Journeyman Hotel and BHLDN for the invite! (It took everything in me not to fan girl too hard.) They partnered for a bridal trunk show and invited me to be one of the first to check it out.
If you haven’t heard of BHLDN, it’s brought to you by Anthropologie and specifically tailored to weddings. The collection features everything from fashion-forward gowns to trendy bridal separates. Want to accessorize your wedding day look? Check out their selection of noteworthy headpieces, sashes and heels!
The trunk show only graced Milwaukee with its presence for the weekend. But, there’s a boutique in Chicago where you can schedule both wedding dress and bridesmaid dress appointments. It’s worth the drive!
I want to give a special shout-out to Lindsey, my stylist turned photographer for the day. Going into the appointment, I wasn’t sure what to expect. After giving my thoughts on how to make the collaboration worthwhile, Lindsey was all in for a mini photo shoot! We had just 45 minutes before the first official appointment of the day, but Lindsey made it work. She’s a rock star for both styling my looks and capturing the perfect shots!
Along with Lindsey, all of the ladies from BHLDN were such gems. We chatted about wedding planning, blogging and their favorites from BHLDN. I loved having the chance to learn more about such a fabulous company.
The trunk show setup was a dream. The Journeyman’s rooms were decked out with brownies, juice bevvies and infused water. Yum! Fresh flowers, eye-catching accessories, embellished heels and endless dresses added the final touch. Love!
On a personal note...I'm one happy girl as of late. I get to marry my best friend AND try on beautiful gowns (even after saying yes to the dress). Is this real life!? Feeling sooo grateful for all of the wedding-related blog opportunities! (Ok, I'll relax with the cheesiness.)
BHLDN's curated dress collection speaks for itself, but more on the accessories…
I adore how versatile the pieces are! The faux-fur Gregory wrap lends a wintery look while the Gleam capelet gives a vintage Hollywood glam feel. Which design is your favorite? Tell me below!
