Styled Shoot: All Things Retro, Vintage & Chic

Several weeks ago I had the honor of getting alllll sorts of creative with a few fellow Milwaukeeans. It's safe to say that opportunities like this are my favorite part about blogging. I'm no model, but it's always fun to play dress up, and I absolutely love hearing everyone's stories. From photographers to designers, it's amazing to see what other creatives are doing to make their dreams a reality.

More on the lovely ladies that brought this styled shoot to life...

Amanda of Amanda Vick Creative, the photographer!

Her versatile photography style speaks for itself. From engagement shoots to family photos, she's your girl! Check out her website and Instagram for more deets! Aside from her obvious photography skills, Amanda is an awesome person to work with. This project was her baby, but she never treated it as such. She was always open to new ideas and inspiration from each of us!

Amy of Hair by Smash, the hairstylist!

Let me tell you...Amy slayyyys when it comes to hair. Give her Instagram a glance and you'll see what I mean. From braids to bridal, Amy's designs are #hairgoals. She took my hair from a boring air-dried look to retro glam in no time! To top it off, she's simply a fun person to be around! If you're a bride-to-be and love using the Knot, check out Amy's reviews and work here.

Kate, the makeup artist!

I've never had my makeup professional done. Now? I want it done professionally EVERY SINGLE DAY! The contour, the lashes, the lip colors. Gah! I loved it all. Kate worked her magicccc for this styled shoot. She has over 7 years of experience in the industry and it shows! She specializes in everything from bridal makeup to fashion shows; so, if you're in need of a MUA, check out her Instagram to get in touch.

Veronica of Full Moon Farm Vintage, the vintage collector!

Veronica keeps the past alive with her love for all things old and handmade. Check out her Instagram for a peek at all the goodies she's collected over the years. From holiday decor to teacups, Veronica's collection is exquisite! On a personal note, I'm obsessed with her jadeite glassware collection. She doesn't officially rent out her vintage finds quite yet, but we all think she should. ;)

Vicki of La Tulipe Designs, the florist!

Vicki from La Tulipe Designs is the bestttt when it comes to flowers. If you've been following along since this summer, you might remember that I featured her work on the blog last August! Check out the post here. For this styled shoot, she created a vintage-inspired bouquet with feminine touches and rustic details. To see more of La Tulipe Designs creations, check out their Instagram. (p.s. Their work was just featured in Wisconsin Bride. How exciting!)

Last, but not least, here's the exact dress (unfortunately it looks like it's sold out online, but you can always check in store) and black heels (so comfortable!) as well as a similar white top and bootcut jeans.

Thanks for reading and I hope you love this styled shoot as much as I do! As always, please share the love below!

xo,

Jo
